v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0)
Hi Milhouse, is there a way to stop the firewall re-enabling itself on every reboot?
Having a problem with Sonarr.

If anyone has any pointers...
Sonarr doesn't appear to be an add-on distributed by LibreELEC, nor is libmediainfo.so.0 a file included in these LE9 builds, so I guess you should contact the add-on maintainer or post for help wherever you downloaded/installed it from?

This revert build fixed this bug for me. AMD cpu + Nvidia GTx 4k card, vanilla LE install. 4k @60hz with sync playback to display.

I came here about another annoyance though. When resuming from sleep my audio resets to ALSA on a different HDMI port.
I don't know if this is because it reports my display as HDMI 0 and audio as HDMI 1, even though they are both using same port and cable.

Is it because TV port is HDMI 1, but display names it as HDMI 0? So overrides my audio preference?

The HDMI out from LE is the Nvidia cards only HDMI port, nothing else is connected.

I had similar problem with GT1030 card and wrote about it earlier here, but got no replies. After a cold start or reboot I almost every time had to select audio output again. I then started to use card's DisplayPort with HDMI adapter and that "fixed" the problem.

I had similar problem with GT1030 card and wrote about it earlier here, but got no replies. After a cold start or reboot I almost every time had to select audio output again. I then started to use card's DisplayPort with HDMI adapter and that "fixed" the problem.  
 Yeah, it does *seem* like a Intel fan base here tbh..
Something is overwriting my settings.
Isn't honouring *my* logic but it's own.

I'll check the kodi.log

Hopefully something occurs.

Hey all,

I've been using these test builds since Nov '17 when I finished my last build (i3 kaby lake). No matter what I try, I can't get HEVC encoded files to use HW encoding; only software. This is fine for 1080p, but 4k stutters like mad. Even tried installing a GT 1030 card - no difference. 

Wanted to try a Kodi 17 build to see if its just because Kodi 18 is in alpha phase still. Anyone have a link of the latest Kodi 17 test build? The links on the main v17 post are dead.

GT 1030 does not support HEVC 10 bit decoding on Linux. It never did.
I3 Kabylake supports it via VAAPI.

Kodi v17 has no HEVC-10 hw accel support.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Got it - I guess I won't try v17 then.

Regardless if the file is HEVC 8 bit or 10, my system won't switch to HW decoding. Anyone here with a kaby lake cpu getting HEVC to work with HW support?

All builds will have that issue until the fix is merged into master so I'm staying on test build Milhouse did.
