v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0)
Whoops, typo! I meant 'back' ;-) The last working version for me was #0903 in 2017. Not sure though, if the channel mixup was already there since I wasn't using the PVR stuff at the time...
Ran across another disc, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Plays fine on Bodhi Linux machine with Kodi 18 installed, so seems like it is not a Kodi 18 issue. On build 401.

Hello fritsch,

thank you very much for your reply!
In the settings I can disable VAAPI but I can't find how to use VDPAU instead!? Can anyone give me a hint please?

My bad. Apparently VDPAU got turned back on at some point while trying other builds. The disc I quoted is playing now.

have not tested versions in between.

When switching with channel up down it is working. So only from epg grid or channel view.

With 0401 it's OK again. Thanks.

You need to start kodi like that: KODL_GL_INTERFACE=GLX kodi (thx to fernet)
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Hm, it's getting more difficult :-) I use LibreElec. Do I have to modify sytemd config files for that? How do I do that?
With hardware acceleration disabled, HD TV uses nearly 100% CPU load and playback is sometimes not flawlessly.

Yes - there is a posibility to do that. I pinged Milhouse on slack cause I have plain forgotten how to do that on LE :-)

Btw. HD is also mpeg-2 for you? Cause H264 should still work with VAAPI right?

Does somebody else has issues with resuming playback? I start en episode... Stop the episode go to another season... Open again the previous season and start playing the already startet episode again... The resume point is lost then and the episode starts from the beginning.

Can you describe the issue - what isn't working? Has it ever worked with these builds (if so, which build did it stop working)?
Strange thing. When I uploaded build 209 and set my AVR in LE and then I uploaded build 330 it works.

Add the following to /storage/.config/autostart.sh:
Code:
echo "GL_INTERFACE=GLX" >>/run/libreelec/debug/kodi.conf
and reboot.

Note that once PR13700 is merged you'll need to replace GL_INTERFACE with KODI_GL_INTERFACE.

Ok, this seems to happen in older builds, too. I think the channel mapping for PCM multichannel audio (5.1 in my case) is a bit off (center and lfe speakers are swapped). Is there a way to remap the speakers in LE? I read a bit about editing the /etc/asound.conf, but LE doesn't have it... @Milhouse: Can you point me to the location where the current configuration for PCM multichannel audio is stored?
Can anyone share link to download November 3, 2017 Build ?
