v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0)
I see a lot of users that still did not learn after many years how to post a Debug Log ...
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Unfortunately there's not much to go on in your log, so we still need to know when this "blank screen" issue started with these builds as we have no other clue.
Understood. I've narrowed it down to where the problem first started. HTH

#0518 - not working. debug log http://ix.io/1ucq
Regarding finding out when issues started. Is there somewhere logged, which version was updated at which time?
Hi.
I have an issue on both my setups, it started when I had to reinstall my machines. I tried to search before asking for your help, but I could not find anything.
The issue I am facing, is that some screens are missing the texts. This is how it looks like: https://imgur.com/a/U2pekEl
The setup is an Intel NUC i5 running 2018-1122.

I did a reset today, to see if the issue would go away, but it is still there.

I have a log with debug enabled.
LOG: https://pastebin.com/mCxifafF

Would appreciate any assistance you could provide.
Thanks in advance.

Edit: Did a complete fresh install from a USB stick. And could notice this only starts after I have two different profiles. I restarted like 10 times before setting the profiles, and this never happened. Setup my profiles, and after reboot, this issue is back again.

Nothing like that is logged on your system, or on LibreELEC servers.

Nothing comes to mind, maybe @fritsch has an idea.

But as always, start testing the older builds in order to determine when the issue started. Go back 6 months - if the problem isn't there 6 months ago then start going forward until you find the first build with the issue. If the issue is present in a build from 6 months ago then go back further (there are 12 months worth of builds online). Worst case it's been present for longer than 12 months, but that's usually not the case.

Thanks for narrowing it down.

Based on your #0518 log:

1. You navigate to Settings
2. Enter System Information
3. Exit out of System Information, back to Settings
4. Enter System
5. Display is lost

After #4 there are a slew of XRANDR calls to change resolution, at which point the display is lost. I can't reproduce this on either a i5 NUC or Revo 3700 (Nvidia ION2). I have no idea why these XRANDR calls are being executed.

Does this only happen when entering System? What about Player or Services?

I've looked at #0518 and most of the non-XBMC changes can be discounted: the lto change has no effect on the build (it was mostly present in #0517 and the extra commit in #0518 is purely cosmetic as far as these builds are concerned), while the updated Linux PR adds new AMD CPU microcode and AMD GPU firmware, which would have no effect on your Bay Trail/Celeron CPU.

However the XBMC changes in #0518 mostly relate to resolution/refresh rate switching or selection, including whitelist: ping @lrusak, @fritsch?

Yes, that is exactly what how i navigated. I first check System Info to confirm correct build.
The issue only happens when entering System. All other screens behave normally.

 Hi, thanks for your assistance.
I Started testing from December last year, and could find the build where it stopped working. The first build with this issue is #0604
Hope this can help find the issue.

Regards.
Hi, here is a log file which shows my current issue with Dolby+ audio.
My config is NUC 6CAYH with audio passthrough enabled for all audio formats. Dolby+ audio plays only if I play the video containing this audio as a first video (after fresh boot). If I first play a video with other audio format and then try to play other one with Dolby+, the audio won't play. I have to reboot LE to get Dolby+ working again.
This also happens if I play Dolby+ first (log 16:15:53.494 - audio played OK), then other video with a different audio (log 16:18:15.912 - audio played OK) and then again the first video with Dolby+ (log 16:27:31.183 - audio did not play).
One more thing, when this happens, sometimes, but not every time, LE gets messed up and even Kodi GUI sounds stop working - this case is also in the log.

Hi. I am using latest librelec and when I put the system into suspend and then after wakeup the kodi freezes.
ATM I have only those lines from the log file if they are giving any clue. If not I will try to further debug log it.
As a note if I *systemctl restart kodi* the system works again so it is only kodi that freezes.
