Hello.
I build myself a new Kodi PC (my old Beebox N3000 was not strong enough for 4k60fps on Network).
I am using:
- AMD Athlon 200GE (with integrated Vega 3)
- Asrock Fatal1ty X470 Gaming-ITX/ac (it has Intel i211 Network that i prefer)
- 8GB DDR4 2666Mhz (2x4 as dual channel)
- 64GB S-ATA M2 SSD for Libreelec
- 240GB SSD for Win10Pro
- Samsung TV UE55ES6300 (model from 2012)
- Yamaha Receiver Avantage RX-A810
I tried Libreelec 8.2.5MR to install - but the integrated Graphic was unknown (but ok, it is too new for that version).
I switched over to Libreelec 8.90.008 ALPHA (found the correct CPU and integ. GPU) and installed it successfully, but
i ran into some issues:
I activated the "match screen refresh rate with video source" as usal with my last Libreelec builds.
Most of the times i am switching between videos with different refresh rates (for example 4k/60Hz <-> FullHD/24Hz) i get a black screen
for 2-3 seconds; the TV is reporting "no source/input" and keeps it black. I am switching to another HDMI source and back to Kodi, getting
another black screen for 2-3seconds and after it all is working fine...
My tests with Alpha 8.90.005-.008 is always the same result. I switched off the "match screen refresh rate with video source" and the black
screens are gone (what is fine) but then, i am getting micro stuttering in videos because of the nonmatched refresh rate (what is NOT fine).
So i switched over to a Milhouse generic build (#1204) for testing reasons - but with the same black screen issues. (btw. i tested with and without
my Yamaha Receiver between the PC and TV !).
This is my logfile of playing a 720p/25Hz, 1080p/60Hz and 4k/60Hz video (i was looking at the debug graphic thing that was showing up when
activating debug log and looks like the integrated GPU is not synchron with the refresh rate of the videos):

Btw: I tested the same videos with Kodi RC1 on Windows 10 without problems (just to test for any hardware problems).
