Then again, it might be my router as it's in service for about 5 years or so. Maybe it wants to retire Tongue

Can you post your kernel log using dmesg | pastebinit (or click the crash log option in LibreELEC Settings) and then post the link..
 Sorry for the late reply.
According to the Zip-Code the server is about 1.5km away. I'll reset my connection later on (it's up for about 6 months now without a break) to see if it's a peering issue, but seeing that my desktop can load with full speed I suspect an issue with my router port.

As for the other issue I mentioned, I tried to trigger it over the past few days but it seems to be gone since the clean install.
And I really tried hard to trigger it again. If it happens again I'll post a debug log but I fear it won't happen again anytime soon.

Anyway, thank you for all your hard work and your support!

@Milhouse how do you add these builds to custom channel in Kodi updater?
I tried adding http://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/master/Generic/ but it does not show your builds still.

By "Kodi updater" do you mean the LibreELEC Settings add-on "Update" option, or is this something else (provide a link to add-on)? The LibreELEC Settings add-on is explained in the first post, note #7. If you're referring to the LibreELEC devupdater addon from ls80 I don't know if that works any longer (contact the maintainer, or switch to the official LE solution).

Out of tree drivers will not be added to LibreELEC.

Have you tried using the in-tree driver? CONFIG_MT76x0U=m is already enabled, and the RT2870 firmware is included.

I've had a pretty catastrophic failure after switching to LE 9.0.1 stable from one of these builds, not sure which one. Would've been a fairly recent build probably LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.0-devel-20190131212758-#0131-g974f4cb. Yes it's probably my fault for switching from a test build to a stable but everything seemed ok for 24 hours then this morning the system had crashed. It may be just coincidence and my SSD has borked. I am getting a bad sector reported in Disks :/

My storage partition is no longer detected. I'm trying to recover it or at least the .kodi folder however I'm having some problems and I'm not sure if anyone here could help. This is what I get in TestDisk 7.0 on my Ubuntu 18.04 Live:
Image

And then if I select both partitions with data I get a structure bad error:
Image

I can access data on the second storage partition listed and copy off however the directory structure is a bit weird. I'm finding files inside folders which shouldn't be there and the .kodi dir is missing from the root.

I have a backup from a few weeks ago so it's not the end of the world but any suggestions to find my latest .kodi dir is much appreciated.

Yep, the .kodi folder would be in the root of the storage (second) partition. It might be hidden, so make sure that's not the issue. It does sound like your SSD has experienced a hardware fault so data (including filesystem meta data) might be corrupted. Highly unlikely to have been caused by 9.0.1, the failure is likely to be just one of those unfortunate things that happens every now and again, I'm afraid.

This isn't the 9.0.1 support thread, ask on the LibreELEC forum. Or ask the maintainers of the skins that don't install, they probably need to be made Leia compatible.

tried to update from Kodi 17 to Kodi 18. I'm now on Kodi 18.1
I like the skin "Confluence". Immediately I get the error message "The dependency on xmbc.gui version 5.12.0 could not be satisfied."
I'm using a firestick. When I did this, it was not a clean insteall. It was an update from 17 to 18, which kept all my settings.
Now if I try to download any other skin, I get the same error. I REALLY don't want to uninstall Kodi and reinstall every single add-on. Is there anything I can do?
