I don't get it. I downloaded your ofdb.xml file, deleted the old one on my xbox, put yours in place, and set the content of the folder to movies -> ofdb(2). But looking up ANY of my movies results in me getting the "enter movie title" dialogue, not matter how I shorten the movie title (I tried "Simpsons", "300", "Hot Fuzz" etc.), using the imDB scraper I get results just fine.

I can't seem to find an edit button, so sorry for double posting.
I can also reach the ofdb website using my PCs webbrowser, so it's not related to unavailable-nes of the website.

Hey C-Quel,
I have in the nfo-file a url from a movie from the ofdb website.
So in the past the information was found in the ofdb website and add to the db.
But now, they don´t found a entry and make something what have not to do with the ofdb. I don´t know why.

I've been looking to the scraper scripting for the ofdb and have written the scraper from scratch.
The scraper now supports everything what will be shown in XBMC and did also use some options in the settings. (I like that).
The only problem still ramains is that for the url request the string of the movie comes in ASCII. For title with german umlaute (ä, ü, ...) or french stuff (ê, ú, etc.) this means the title will not be found because OFDB requests UTF-8 formated strings.
I thought about converting them in regex, but i dont think that the search and replace feature is available in a scraper.
Is there a way to make XBMC giving UTF-8 formated strings instead of ASCII to the scraper? This wouldn't hurt the english scrapers becaus everything below 128 is the same in UTF-8 and ASCII.
Or does anyone have an idee how to convert in the scraper script?
