The owner of this account, passed away quietly during the night on Monday the 5th at 3am, he had requested that upon his passing, all pre-arrangements be triggered so that his associated web accounts would be closed and/or marked as deceased. He was 77 years young.

If possible please close all his remaining open posts on these boards.

Thank you.

:-( - that really makes me sad! Having known about his illness for a long time. I hope your heavy pain is now finally over. RIP.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

No disrespect intended, but is it real ? Or an elaborate way of quitting the forum?

The only reason I ask is I did not expect many 77 y/o to be so active on the internet, least of all making many technical posts in a Kodi forum.

If it's real then sorry to hear that you're dead. RIP

That's very sad. But it also gives me comfort to know he enjoyed a hobby (probably many) and was very technically minded at such an age.

I'm sorry to hear this. In his time in this forum, he was often a bright spot for people. Around the time I got elected as a board member for the first time, along with several other board newbies, he wrote a really cool post thanking everyone on the team for their work. That positivity is something everyone should strive for.
