Silly question, but did you install the Kodi MediaPortal TV plugin onto the TV server and configure it?

Maybe I got something wrong?
From here I understood that there are three components.

Code:
1. The PVR backend  (as the server side part)
I tried so far an old WindowsXP machine with drivers for my silly Technisat S2 Card and the TVService of MediaPortal running

Code:
2. The PVR client (as an addon for Kodi)
The plugin I hopefully got compiled with the help from here. It is installed on Kodi running on the client(!), which is an archlinux-machine.

Code:
3. The PVR frontend (as the Kodi graphical user interface)
Well, Kodi running on the Linux client with TV and the mediaportal AddOn enabled.

Did I misunderstood something?

You also need to install a plugin called TVServerKodi in the MediaPortal TVServer and make sure that it running.
See: http://kodi.wiki/view/MediaPortal_TV-Server
Developer of the MediaPortal PVR addon and retired developer of the Argus-TV PVR-addon.

Your link leads me to an empty page - but I got the point:

Kodi Wiki Media Portal

Download Site for the MP-Plugin for Kodi

I will have some other tries ...

Unfortunately, I am stuck with running the TV Server because of my Sky Star S2 not running as desired, longer story here:

Shorter story,
If I find Hardware PID Filtering working with a comming release of Media Portal, I like to give it another try. But thanks very much again for all support, I think the installation issues on the client side are solved.
