There is some cross referencing in v17 yes, song -> (artist that performs a role). But it is a total dead end, you can't do go anywhere else from there.
What is wanted is to be able to wander about for example song -> artist (some role) -->
a) other albums or songs with artist have that role
b) other albums or songs with artist have some other role, or any etc.
and if at the time I was on the song I had filtered by genre, year, or some user property, then continue to apply that filter or clear it.
