Do you by chance have forced "Prefer VAAPI Render Method" to off?

As said above: no one can help you without a Debug Log. But good the original issue is gone.

Cpu usage seems to have resolved itself, one of my services like trakt or tvheadend or seonthing must have been doing cpu intensive updates.

All appears to be fine now, quality deinterlacing, upscaling, framerate switching and syncing for live tv and stored media! What other software can pull that off!
