Support or Skip RAW images
#1
Hi,

as far as I know, RAW images are not supported in KODI.

Is it possible to skip certain file extensions like RAW in slide show mode?

Thanks for help!

Can you post a Debug Log? I don't see where we open .raw
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

The RAW file names I have are either .ARW (SONY) or .CR2 (CANON).

.ARW is displayed like a white image with some drizzle
.CR2 is displayed with a pink shadow

My photo-software stores both files in the same directory.
Therefore it would be nice, that in slideshow only JPG would be shown.

PS: I will look for the debug log later.

Does this not address what you need? Create the advancedsettings.xml file, and make sure you list all forms of raw extension that you want to exclude (remove).

http://kodi.wiki/view/AdvancedSettings.x...s_settings

EDIT

I just tried it and removed .cr2 files from my picture view, so give it a go...

Thx ... problem solved.

The only problem for me was to find the specific folder, because Kodi is running on my Asustor NAS which is running on LINUX (... and I am not familiar with LINUX Wink

So, if someone has the same problem, here is the way that worked for me.

1. Install WinSCP to get root access (good description is here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/...log-saved/)

2. look for the advancedsettings.xml in the following path: /usr/local/AppCentral/kodi/var/kodi/userdata
