I know how to create a shortcut to Exit/Quit, and I also know that I can press 's' to bring up the "Power Menu" (in order to Log Off) but I can't figure out how to create a shortcut to Log Off.

In Settings > Skin > Home window > Setup menus and widgets > Choose item for menu > Kodi command, I see:

Reboot
Shutdown
Power off system
Quit
Restart
Hibernate
Suspend
Add timer
Cancel shutdown timer
Screensaver
Minimize
Enter master mode
Rip audio CD
Update video library
Update audio library
Clean audio library

But there is no logoff command. Is there something else in the skin settings that I'm missing? I know that if I go to "Change action" rather than "Choose item for menu," I have the option for Custom item. Is there something I can put in there to make Kodi log off?

Never mind!

I went to Settings > Skin > Home window > Setup menus and widgets, then opened my Menu item I created, went to "Change action," and chose Custom Item. I then typed in:

System.LogOff

Problem solved!!!

I'm leaving this up in case it helps someone else.

Mimic just displays the links that are provided by script.skinshortcuts. I'll post this in the script's thread and see if there is a reason that logoff is not included.

I tested it out, you have to turn on the Login screen in profile settings the Logoff shortcut to appear in Kodi Commands.
