v16 How do I trace favorite source?
#1
I added a TV channel from a video add-on to my kodi favorite folder but I forget where does this channel originally come from? How can I find out which add-on does this channel belong to?

In essence:
- find your userdata folder
- inside that folder you're looking for favourites.xml
- open favourites.xml with a text editor, and read the relevant line.

Thank you. I saw those lines but when I went into the add-on I didn't see the channel.

Disable half your video addons and try the favourite.

If it doesn't work it was in that half, and if it does it's in the other half. Then repeat the process on the indicated half until you get to whichever is the source.

Quite how long it will take does of course depend on how many you have installed.

Possibly because it's no longer there...
Does the favourite still work?

The favorite works perfect. I just can't find it in the add-on.
