v17 Pop up info when playing a video
#1
When playing a video in kodi, after 3-4 seconds a pop-up occurs letting you know what video you have just selected to play.
It stays there for ~6 seconds then disappears.

Ive been through all the settings, of kodi and xonfluence skin and cannot find an option for this.

Is there any way to stop this from popping up ?

Where are you getting the video from?

Any video really, ranging from movies in my video collection on my server to small clips that are on a usb stick.

This is where its most annoying, if you are watching a clip that is 15 seconds long, most of it will be 1/3 covered by this pop-up for most of the length of the clip.

I never used to have this in my previous version ( xbmc 12.2 )

The popup info, is part of kodi.
Just need to know how to turn it off.
Sorry for the crappy picture, but you'll get the idea

Does the "i" key toggle that off for you?

The "i" key just makes it stay there permanently.

As said it only appears after 3 seconds ish at the beginning of any video and stays for around 6 seconds.
Ok if you are watching a full length movie.
But short clips its bloody annoying.

I'm guessing its a feature of krypton, as I never had this with Frodo.

Is there a script that can be edited, to stop it appearing?
