Hey all.
I am having trouble installing KODI- 17.0- Krypton_rc3-x86_64.dmg on my mac.
i get a warning message: The following file can not be opened.
system following:
macOS Sierra
Version 10.12.1
MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012)
Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
What other information do you need.
Any help will be great.

So you can't even open the dmg file and see the blue folder with the kodi app in it? If so - try to redownload the dmg.

I have downloaded a number of times with the same result. Do you have a link from a different source i can try.

yes that is correct. i can't even open the dmg file and see the blue folder with the kodi app in it.

Just downloaded kodi-17.0-Krypton_rc4-x86_64.dmg and had no issues opening the .dmg (macOS 10.11.6)

Hi caleb14: This is very unusual. Try the following:
1. Goto Finder and select the .dmg.
2. Hit Command+i to get details.
3. Check that the dmg has exactly 76.962.200 Bytes
If this is okay, you may verify the md5 hash:
1. Open Terminal and type md5
2. Drag the dmg onto the Terminal window and hit Return
3. Check that it spits out 566a847e82922b7624b437358dc2d61c
If both are OK, you may try to mount the .dmg via Disk Utility.

what add ons do i need to put on my computer for kodi now i have it running. thank you
