Why are you replying to a statement made over a year ago?

 Because I was researching what happened to fast forwarding and rewinding in Kodi and found this thread.  What's the cutoff time for responding to incorrect and insulting statements?

 I am not.  When a member of the development team makes an inappropriate comment that's condescending and insulting toward the user base, that's worth pointing out.  

The bottom line is that fast forward is still useful.  Whether it's technically possible to achieve at this point or not is a different story.

it's my religious belief that my statement is correct so because of that it's not insulting.
