Audio encoder add-on not able to find in PPA
#1
Hi to all,

yesterday I made a fresh installation of Lubuntu 16.10 and then Kodi from the stable PPA (at yesterday evening, the 16.1 version was present, not yet the 17 one).

Then I've tried to install the Audio encoder add-on packages following the wiki guide, but the output is that packages are not present into the PPA. I've tried to search in the Synaptic, but they seems to be not present (I mean -vorbis, -flac, -lame, -wav).

Same issue for the ADSP add-ons and for all of the Audio decoders (I mean -modplug, -nosefart, -sidplay, -snesapu, -stsound, -timidity and -vgmstream).

The result is that I can't hear any sound from audio/video sources, even if I have tried to change many options (i.e. passthrough and other options on audio sources devices).

Could be an issue due to the PPA is upgrading to K17?

Many thanks,
J.

Just to complete: I have done an apt-get update before trying to install every codec, and it was OK.
Then when I launch an apt-get install SOMECODEC it is impossible to find it.

Thanks,
J.
