I'm using nextPVR as my back end server and the nextPVR addon in Kodi. The Kodi program guide shows correct genres for all tv shows listed. However, nextPVR recordings in Kodi always show the genre to be "Other". Interestingly when I view recording's information directly in nextPVR, the genres are correct.
Has anyone who has experienced this problem found a solution?

I looked into this. The addon is setting the genre on show listing, but not on recordings. I'll try to add this for the next version of the addon.
