very nice case docwra!

Are you getting full 4K HDR and bitstreaming of all the HD audio codecs (Atmos, DTS-X)?

Sorry I don't know, I have it setup on a soundbar in my main living area.

4K and x265 works fine with anything I throw at it so far.

Hehe no way! LibreELEC works out of the box with it so no need for a bloated operating system here Wink

I've got it up and running now and the top temperature I have seen is 42 degrees after watching 4hours of HD live tv.

So far its been great!
docwra, can you give exact specs on your box and internal board?

I'd like to build the exact same setup.

I finally got to try out some 4k live TV content with the SES UHD demo station on Freesat UK

At first I got stuttering on panning scenes but a quick look in settings >> Player settings >> Videos >> Enable 'Sync Playback to display' fixed it!

Now all 4K is smooth and using about 10%-20% CPU Cool

Which i5 NUC are you using?  I am just now getting into KODI and Plex and would like to have 4k HDR playback.  I have Kodi embedded on my NUC6i5SYH and it works well.  Plays 4k local only for some reason.  Any advice or help? (PM if easier)

Spook, is that your build below?  How is it working?  That is similar to what i have except the NUC I have a NUC6i5SYH.  I do not know much about its capabilities as I am new to all this.  It currently has Libreelec clean with kodi.  I have my plex server in network and I am sharing from a couple of other sources.  I get jittery video when i try to watch from outside the network anything 4k. I can wait for a magic box but i am not sure if one is coming.  Thoughts?
