So I have purchased one of the 1st gen Fire stick remotes. I have it paired with my windows 7 KODI machine and KODI responds to the remote just fine for my "UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT and ENTER" Buttons, but will not see any others. Even after adding a keymap file still nothing. Also, I tried to use the Keymap Editor ADD-On and when I try to assign any other button, for example the back button, the editor doesn't see it and just waits for a keypress. But the editor will work just fine for the "UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT and ENTER" Buttons. Its becoming very frustrating. For kicks, I synced the remote to my Mac and it registered the button presses just fine. It seems to be KODI on my Windows 7 machine that wont see the other buttons.
