Couple of possible suggestions

While playing a video hovering over the pause button reads "Paused" vs "Pause"
The poster vs screencap looked better imo on osd, maybe an option of which to use?
On the player process window maybe have an audio and video column so the background height matches the regular osd height?
Plot info should replace all of the title, video info icons etc to match regular osd hieght too? For that uniform look.

I use string from Kodi translation for that, not a string from skin.

In any case the size of the OSD is not sufficient for casting list and chapter list so it will not be uniform everywhere.

No interest for that, you will have a empty space on le left.

I mean to enhance for some additional features. For example to show pvr imported original show pictures which comes from epg provider like TV Movie (no poster from other sources), season and episode info, colored genre like in timeline view.
Simliar to WMC Channel view or something like that.

Functionnal/design suggestion :
coming back from settings screen to main screen, I'm often fooled by the fact the last selected menu item is still coloured despite not in focus. Which leads me to push right to reach the widget or category but instead landing on search or fullscreen. See below screenshot. I would suggest to make the last non focused item ("video" below) to be greyed out just as the other non focused items.
