Hi - I've just installed this skin on my NVidia Shield TV. For some reason it does not display the media flags (not sure if that is the right terminology but I am referring to audio/video features such as Dolby Atmos, 7.1, 4K, HDR etc) in the movie list. If I play a movie and press the button to bring up the menu, then it shows all the media flags correctly. What am I doing wrong?

Refresh the movie. Or rescan to library should do it.

Sorry, there are high chances that it wont be fixed. We haven't heard from the Skinner in a long time.

I am having a weird issue. I posted above about adding new sections to the main menu. I've done that and it's works good. But I cannot access the second row of files.

I've added to sections; newly added and in progress. I am unable to navigate to the bottom row. No matter what I do with the d-pad they are simply unacessable.

I'm not sure what the problem is. I am attaching a picture. The blue arrows point to the problem area. Please ignore tht red circle.

 

Someone else reported a similar problem on Raspberry pi. He was to report it as a bug. The only known workaround is to use a mouse. Also, go to skin settings and enable or disable touch mode, see if there is any positive effect if you enable or disable touch mode.

There is a skin settings but the media flags should be turned on by default unless you changed the settings yourself. Go to Skin Settings, General, Show Media Flags. There is a setting here to select which media flags to be shown. You can select all of them (default).
Theoretically, the skin looks for the flags included in the file name. For example, Hot Fuzz (2007) 2160p.HDR.Bluray.HEVC.10bit.DTS 7.1.MKV while a video named Hot Fuzz (2007).MKV will not show most of the flags.
The rest of the flags such as video aspect ratio will be extracted from the video itself. From your screenshot, the skin does not even show the video aspect ratio which it should as long as the media flags are turned on for this does not depend on the file name, so I highly doubt you file naming is the problem here but just check that they are named properly.

Thank you that was helpful, never messed with smart playlists before. You mentioned you have all the add ons required for this skin. Those are all installed with the skin is that correct? As long
as I let it install everything it wants I don't have to add anything to it?

I downloaded 18.4 kodi and it seems that this mod is not in the repository for Kodi. So you may need to look under the skins settings to see if you have all the add on required.

Yeah I guess I should, it is working pretty well seems like I am good. Hopefully this skin doesn't die when v19 comes out.

I tried googling around but it seems the repo hosting the addon was down. How did you manage to install the skin? Did you find the dependancy? There are at least two posts. You may help us if you recently installed the skin successfully. I even thought of zipping the addon in the user folder from my 1st KODI setup and uploading it online but am not sure if that is even allowed.

This was on a clean install of Kodi 18.4 on a windows machine. Once installed I then downloaded everything from the first post of this thread. Started Kodi and installed all add ons by zip and changed skin to Estuary Mod v2 skin. I have never come across the failed dependency.
