Hello,

this album https://musicbrainz.org/release/714ae6d3...7ddbb104af has two tracks (first on each disc) that have the same musicbrainz ID https://musicbrainz.org/recording/1473c9...92df220873

I still have this file twice, with different DISCNUMBER and different filename in different folders. Kodi shows this file just once, omiting the track from the first disc.

* Is my assumption correct that Kodi omits displaying the file twice because of identlical MUSICBRAINZ_TRACKID?

* Is this a Kodi bug or by design?

* Is this Musicbranz policy to give different tracks the same ID when they are identical?

Just like buses, nothing for ages (ever) and then two come at once.
It is a flaw, Kodi was designed assuming that MB track ID was unique per album, it isn't recordings can be repeated. A fix is ready for v18. Just read the other thread, in fact I may even merge them.

Oh, overlooked that other thread.

I'm fine with merging or even deleting my thread alltogether, it's exactly the same issue.
