v17 Kodi 17 won't work on my Mac (OS Sierra 10.12.3) HELP!!
#31
As good the user experience of KODI 17.0 Krypton is, as bad was the update experience from 16.1 to 17.0 on macOS Sierra.

On 2 different account on one iMac, at least
* Addons20.db
* Addons27.db
* TV29.db
were corrupted. but honestly I'm not sure if the only culprit was the update from 16.1 to 17.0 or the Operating System Update one day before from Mac OS X 10.11.6 to macOS 10.12.3

But still two weeks after operating KODI 17.0 Krypton - I had suddenly on one account an corruption of EPG11.db.

Regards,
Harald

I simply deleted the file and re-configured the addons - for e.g. music visualization you have to configure it anyway, because they were formerly intregrated.

1. you don't seem to have any working audio device (hackintosh?)
2. corrupted addons27.db - delete it

You have broken databases, please remove addons27.db and addons20.db from your userdata folder and let kodi rebuild them. You can find Information here http://kodi.wiki/view/Userdata

Can you describe the problem in words ? What version of kodi, what is happening ? Also please keep it to one forum post with the same question and please try to be a little more polite to us all!
Could be gatekeeper, could be broken database, something else.........

This needs a debug log (wiki) gathering, uploading to a PasteBin site and their link posting here. Try the advanced section if kodi can't start at all
