I have a MySQL server that also hosts an NFS server. Ever since I updated kodi to v17 on both a RPi and a Macbook I've noticed serious delays in playback after I press play. It also seems like it is taking a very long time to populate artwork / fanart, that I believe is downloaded to the MySQL database as well.

This log shows it happening on OSX, but the behavior happens with RPi / OSMC as well. The image loading issue makes me thing it is a network timeout or something. It did not happen on 16.x

can you turn on debug logging and upload a new log?

I did that and poked around more. I re-IPd my network and refactored everything in my "path" table on MySQL, but I didn't do it for the "art" directory. After doing that everything seems well!
