Hi,

I've got an issue with my media player. Recently upgraded my living room media player to Odroid C2 running Libreelec 8.0 and Kodi 17.(Had a Raspberry Pi 2 with Kodi 16 before.)

Usually I had the automatic frame rate adaption on start/stop enabled, so the player changes the TV's frame rate when starting a movie.
Since the upgrade my TV changes to a black screen for a second, when I skip/search through a movie. I haven't had this before.
I found out that when I disable the automatic frame rate adaption to 'never', I can search through movies without the TV going black.

Is this a known issue? Does anyone else experience this?

I have exactly the same issue with black screen when skip trough a video. I also have Odroid C2 running Libreelec 8.0.2
The tv is smart Philips TV with android 5.1 (horrible software btw)
When skipping tv shows black screen, sometimes even brief "no signal" message. Additionally i have older Panasonic TV model 2009 and it seems that this issue doesn't affect it.
Maybe sluggish android tv software cannot react fast enough to frame rate change.
