Picture-in-Picture (PiP) support on Android TV 7.0 (Nougat) and later?
#1
Just read that latest VLC got a new TV design with PiP (Picture-in-Picture) support and got me wondering if Kodi team also have plans to implement PiP?

Mostly I was thinking that it would cool on Android boxes that feature a HDMI-input port to show whatever source you have connected to HDMI-input.

I don't have one of those Android boxes with HDMI-input myself, but I think I would probabbly get one and connect my PS4 to it if Kodi supported PiP.

[EDIT: As off-topic I will start a new thread for seperate discussion about question below).

PS: Did anyone else notice that VLC (for Android) is more and more turning into fully fledged media center with media library and more Kodi likeness?

Latest version have SQL database with global search support, is compatible with voice search on Android, and now even have Android Auto compatibility.

They have even started an extension API in order to let anyone develop Android applications which will provide content to VLC.
