So I am kinda new to mac so I recently deleted the kodi app on my hard drive because I wanted to update it to the newest version. So I deleted the kodi app and then downloaded and installed the new one. But whenever I try to run it now it says this. I have tried restarting multiple times, reinstalling multiple times. idk what else i should do. its an endless loop. I tried the 17.1 krypton and 17.0 releases as well they both said the same thing.

Hard to tell without a debug log. Can you get us one ? See also http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Advanced

But if you want to start fresh you also remove the kodi folder from http://kodi.wiki/view/Userdata. Beware with this option, you will have to rebuild your entire library again.
