ServerWMC Guide Data
#16
On my devel machine, I noticed that at the start of a new day, kodi quit requesting guide updates from serverwmc every three hours like it had been the day before. I was going to investigate this more but we had a power failure and and I lost the session (we've been having a string of storms in our area). So based on what I briefly saw, I am thinking its an issue with kodi not requesting new guide data after it has been left on all night. Seems unlikely though as somebody would have noticed a bug like this before now. I need to set it up again, once things get back to normal.

That does sound something like what I was experiencing but now it is behaving. I'll keep monitoring and let you know if it does it again but would be interested to see if your tests find anything once you get it set up again.

Thanks!

I have not seen the issue recently either. Also noticed this thread in the main PVR forum, so it may in fact be a Kodi issue not specific to WMC.

@jdlive

Thanks for finding that. I had tried (and failed) to find it reported elsewhere to see if it was a kodi pvr interface problem. Weird how the problem isn't consistently reproducible.

I'll read the thread that someone else posted but just something else I noticed. If I go to guide and find data missing for a particular channel I can then go to "channels" and it shows whats on so it has the data it's just losing it from the guide.
