Should be a simple fix. Go to Post #45 of this thread, and follow the instructions (or click this shortcut) ... http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid2563933

Please start your own fresh post, and include a proper debug log (wiki)

Log file/Advanced (wiki) note section 1.2 Turn on debugging using a file (advancedsettings.xml)

Not a full debug log!

Use this method to enable it and provide a new link to a new log: http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Advanced#...ngs.xml.29

This log doesn't have debug logging turned on in settings>system>logging or as noted the section 1.2 advancedsettings.xml

Please start your own fresh post.

Log file/Advanced (wiki) note section 1.2 Turn on debugging using a file (advancedsettings.xml)

I do not have a Database folder in the userdata directory (and hidden files are configured as "SHOW", in my folder view settings.

Krypton starts up, and IMMEDIATELY freezes; I cannot click on anything, except the red X in top right, to exit program.

The only way I get the program to work is to keep uninstalling/reinstalling it.

Isn't there a fix for this issue?

Sounds like an incomplete install, or you're looking in the wrong place. Chek out my signature for a fresh start and re-install from this forums download link.

I have the same issue, Kodi will not lunch after new install. I've tried x64 and x32 versions without any luck.

Here is my log file.

Thanks.

Simply dumping a kodi.log into our forum without any attendant description is not appreciated. Doing so in someone else's old forum thread is even more annoying.

Log files that contain various references to banned repositories and/or add-ons will not be accepted as per our forum rules (wiki) and piracy policy.

Any more of such log dumping will be considered spamming, and dealt with accordingly.
