Multiple computer installations

I'm using EMM 1.4.7.2 and Kodi 17.1. Kodi is installed on a Raspberry Pi 2 and my movie files are installed on a NAS. I have EMM and, also, Kodi installed on a laptop and a desktop for the purpose of maintaining the movies on the NAS. I use the laptop and the desktop only for organizing and massaging my movies. I use one or the other depending on where I am located at the time.

My question is - is there a way for EMM to use the same database from different installations? Can I locate the data on a network?

Along that line, can different installations of Kodi be made to use the same database?[/size]

Ember is portable. All settings are saved inside the Ember Media Manager folder. You can "install" it on an USB-Stick or on a network share. But only one user a the time should run Ember.

For Kodi you can use MySQL to share the library between multiple clients: Link

Thanks, Dan. I thought EMM might be portable but wasn't sure. As for Kodi, I'll give that try when I have a bit more time on my hands (things are crumbling around here Confused). Tom
