in the parent directory, called kodi, the same where you found the log

Ok so you do have crashlog, does the timing of the latest one coincide with your last attempt of opening Kodi? if so could you open and copy contents to pastebin.
After that then see if renaming Addons27.db works.

they are yesterdays crash logs none have recorded today, I cannot read this type of file, do you have a suggestion for a program to open it so i can share in pastebin ? says its a git/dmp file ?

i am going to uninstall then reinstall newest version of kodi right now and post the debug file for today, see if anything is different.

so i dug through my windows updates and settings and found an update that i had to force start manually it took approx 45 min to update and now kodi 17.1 started for me. thank you so much for your help but whatever was in that update is what kodi needed.

For future reference, the log you posted didn't have the debug turned on, which when applied imparts much more information.
