You want the details, here they are:

Low is for slow CPUs (ARM Cores with low frequency) quality is okay, most people don't hear a difference to Mid, Mid makes sense as the computing window and the cutoff frequency allows a higher range, in fact two people from team kodi with very good headsets could hear it. High was done for the audiophiles that can only hear good quality if kodi takes 20%+ more CPU load or a green light is lighting, makes absolutely no sense :-).

Remember: Those settings have no influence at all on what Android does with these audio samples. Kodi can output High quality and use a whole lot of CPU doing so, while Audiotrack will just reduce the quality again.

audiophiles in that negative context means people, that have a log of money to throw it on hardware, but neither have good ears (cause they need a green light to judge) nor are awary of systematic issues. The last guy in this forum had a 3000 dollar usb dac and did not know that it run on 48 khz from Android as he did not have a display to check it. Therefore: Use your ears.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
