Prevent MediaInfo parsing of images?
#1
I always cancel the Media Info scanning on my system as operating over the network it's glacially slow. This is due to the amount of image parsing that has to occur as it inspects various images. All of these images were downloaded by TMM so it seems redundant to scan them.

Is there a way I can prevent TMM from doing a media info scan on images to allow this process to run faster? What is the purpose of the image scanning anyway?

you just need to let tmm scan the files once and it would not scan them anymore..
we pickup file meta data of all possible filetypes there - including images. no way to suppress that
