Due to me making a mess of my files on my NAS, I had to start again with my music library.

Now, after having successfully mapped the path to my music library in my NAS using the NFS protocol (I previously used SMB, I think), and eventually figuring out how to remove the old library database and scan again, I have everything showing in my music library.

However, I cannot get any music to play! When I click a song, I get one of two messages, either:

- "PLAYBACK FAILED - One or more items failed to play...", or
- "PLAYLIST - Can't find next item to play".

Can anyone please advise what is wrong and how to fix it?

By the way, my videos are playing perfectly (and indeed, starting up much more quickly now I'm using NFS)

Which distro are you using?

Please get us a kodi Debug Log. Otherwise it's hard to tell. I would explain how to grab the log, but it will differ from the distro you are using.
