Does anybody know how to activate subtitles in English movies when another language is spoken? For instance, German and French parts in The Longest Day and Arabic parts in The Kingdom.

That will depend if your DVD/Bluray came with the subtitles.

But sounds like you are talking about forced subtitles, so they should definitely be there, unless you removed them during the ripping process
