Hi all,
I was wondering about upsampling. I see that kodi is capable of upsampling to a fixed sample rate that the user sets, and this works fine.
However, it would stand to reason (and I have only read bits about this here and there) that upsampling should be done in whole number multiples (i.e. 44.1 x 2 = 88.2 kHz) to best preserve sound quality.
Is there then a way to tell kodi, upsample 44.1/88.2 to 176.4 kHz and 48/96 to 192 kHz respectively? Does this happen already?
