 Yes, I found that bug, 3rd device was never tested, there was a typo that it always tested device 4 instead of 3. Will fix it soon. But that was only in testing. 

Yes this bug is only while performing test.
Did you perform a test with a strip and ambi under Kodi/android ?
On my side, I removed setting.xml and started kodi on my LGG4. bulb number was 0, and parameters seems to be at their default value.
I powered only my strip, and used "Try to discover bulb".
bulb1 was successfully discovered, model=stripe, IP was ok, and bulb number was 1.
I enabled 'yeemee ambi service on', and for bulb1 'use as yeemee ambi = whole screen'.
I didn't changed any other parameters, and started a video : strip was just going white with video, and going off while stopping video.
I checked 'on video play', 'on video pause', 'on video stop' : everything was at "none" for bulb1 ( the only one visible ).
[EDIT] : after restarting kodi, I could see the stripe woking with ambi.
I started again from empty config file with 2, and 3 bulbs.. Everything is now working...

I'll run a few more tests to refine the description of the problem.
