Maybe just a slider for Seconds  then ... instead of Milliseconds ?

3000ms ~ 3 seconds is pretty quick ... a longer duration of 30 Seconds would be great !!

I understand the importance of Milliseconds when it comes to Audio/Video Sync, Framerates etc ... but for Dimming Lights, Screensavers etc i think Seconds are fine and don't need to be Millisecond "precise" IMO.
