To be honest i guess both issues belong together. Since you probably did not manually change something inside the channel management there must be a reason why those settings were wrong.

Any chance that you would wipe kodi totally once and do a clean install? Including manually deleting the kodi Folder placed here %Appdata%.

Is this a single seat setup?
