adding keyboard shortcut to directly open 'pictures'

I am running krypton 17.1(open elec 8) on raspberry pi 3.
Say , I am watching a video then I press printscreen on keyboard so the snapshot gets saved in pictures folder.
Now I want to view that snapshot and resume playing video.
Currently , I press escape then go to pictures menu and so on ...
It would be easier if I just press ctrl+p and picture folder appears.
Read Opening_Windows_and_Dialogs (wiki) , couldn't use it for my case.

I have to add <p mod="ctrl">What here ?</p> to keyboard.xml .
Can't figure out the function ?


PS: added in OS independent area because , I think result will hold for any OS.
