Kodi v17 stuttering on Sony VPL-HW50ES projector playing from laptop through HDM

the video plays fine on the laptop and smaller TVs but when i use the projector it stutters a LOT. as you watch the video (see link below) notice when i move my mouse and the bottom menu comes up it stops stuttering and when the menu goes away the stuttering comes back.

No Debug Log no issue
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
