This seems to definitely be related to IPTV Simple Client. I have the IPTV Simple Client running as a second pvr alongside mythtv. If I disable IPTV Simple Client I can once again open the channel and group manager settings. If I disable mythtv and run only Simple Client channel and group manager will not open. If I run both pvr clients channel and group managers will not open. Nothing useful shows up in the logs, the key presses are not even registered. So basically I have no idea what's going on.
