Hi guys i have this AM1I-A motherboard and have tried to add extra sata ports using a pci sata 2 card that i have, its an old one at least 3 years but i keep running into issues.

I put the card in and connect one hard drive to the sata pci card and the motherboards satas both have a hard drive connected to them and when i boot the board sees the sata card and the drive attached and goes to the bios screen and then to the bios screen and then stays there and wont continue to windows.

Any one managed to do this as i cant get a sata card to work unless i only use one of the motherboards sata sockets and one of the sata cards sockets and as usal Asus customer service is useless and can help me i would be really happy.
