'Play to Kodi' not playing
#1
Hi,

I've running Kodi on a Rpi3, and have recently upgraded to LibreElec Krypton (from Jarvis).

I use 'Play to Kodi' a lot, this extension will cast Youtube videos into Kodi - Its very good.

https://github.com/khloke/play-to-xbmc-c...ng-Started

Since upgrading to Krypton, I can no longer play Youtube videos, when I hit the 'Play to Kodi' button on my laptop Kodi pops up a message 'Working...', but nothing more happens, I then have to reboot LibreElec.

Below is an extract from the debug log, which starts just before the YouTube video address:

Code:

So, no one knows how to fix this?

I managed to get it working again...

... basically, I went to the settings in Kodi, ensured the Port was set to 8080 and entered a username and password.

I then added these settings into Play to Kodi and it started working again!

Spoke too soon. Its stopped working again...

Not too sure what caused this, but after a reboot of Kodi / LibreElec it started working again.

Its obviously an intermittent problem...

Its simply plugged into my switch via a cable.

Play to Kodi worked perfectly under Jarvis, this problem has only occured after upgrading to Krypton...

Did you seek support from the developers of the "Play to Kodi" app? Are you certain it's not a problem with their software?
