Have a Windows 10 machine using Kodi 17.3 with NextPVR as the PVR. Have a Ceton quad tuner for the HD TV. Everything is working really well except that a few channels do not work in Live TV mode. I can record from these channels and playback is flawless when watching these recordings. These channels come in fine when using the NextPVR either directly or through the localhost browser interface.

Anyone know a fix for the few channels not playing live in Kodi?

You'd probably need to post the kodi.log, with debug logging enabled, showing an attempt to view one of these channels, so one of the kodi experters can tell us what Kodi is unhappy about.

BTW just tried X NEWA (it is a program addon, not a PVR addon) as a NextPVR alternate. They both use Next PVR backend. X NEWA works so maybe the issue is the NextPVR plugin settings?

Fixed the issue with a full removal and clean reinstall of Kodi. Apologies for not posting the logs, I'll need to look into how to do that for next time. Thanks for your assistance.

I'm not the OP, but I have a similar problem, one channel that will not play Live TV regardless of client (I've tried 2-3 different PCs), but does work in NEWA.

I think that's the relevant debug log, from pressing enter to play the channel to pressing x to stop playback. For what it's worth, I'm using a Ceton Infnitv 6 PCIe on Windows 10, and this playback attempt was from a different Windows 10 machine running the Windows Store build of Kodi.[/code]
