Sorry if this has already been addressed but I did a search and could not come up with an answer. If there is feel free to direct me to the post.

I just installed kodi to my iPhone 7+. Works fine on wifi but not through my cellular data.

Settings show that cellular data access is on for kodi. Am I missing a step?

Signed up just to revive this thread with an answer as it appears first in Google making it the best threat to post on. I had same issue with iPhone 8 and T-Mobile I installed both Kodi 17.5 and 17.6 both through a 3rd party and sideload using Cydia Impactor and same results, WiFi works fine network does not. It appears though Kodi on iOS does not properly handle networking connections / http injections. The fix is simple, even if you connect 0 devices just enable personal hotspot. I have tried a few times and so far 100% success rate, if hotspot is off connection drops, enabled and it works fine. Again you do not need to connect and use your hotspot just have it turned on, at least until the Dev's can resolve this issue, until then I recommend this thread and reply gets stickied.

Same problem as Jtownsend, wifi is okey, but cellular is not.
His personal hotspot trick amazingly worked, but hotspot just turns off too much for whatever reason.. 
I am on ios 11.3.1 and on iphone 7 plus.
