Kodibuntu 17.3 crash when playback movie

Hello

Kodibuntu 17.3 update today and when I want to play a movie, it crashes.
Intel Core I5 2500 with VAAPI activated

Please copy your debug log (wiki) to PasteBin.com or a similar site and replace your log above with the link they will provide.

Directly posted logs bloat the forum database and are against the forum rules (wiki).

I'd suggest you post a Debug Log in a pastebin near you where you ACTUALLY play a video. If you cannot upgrade your Ubuntu 14 release (especially libva / libva-driver-intel / mesa) please plain disable VAAPI. Development went on in the last 3 years and ubuntu 14 does not provide the needed vaapi versions.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

I disabled VAAPI and video is working.
How can I upgrade my ubuntu14 ?

Do you need anything else beside Kodi on that hardware?

If not, then I would suggest a fresh install of LibreELEC.

If yes, I would recommend a fresh install of Lubuntu, which should work pretty well.

Kodibuntu has its flaws and is no longer supported. So staying there is not the best idea IMO.
