Jumpy videos

My kodi playback has 'jumps' every several minutes (like I touched the jump button).
Latest Kodi version.
It used to work great with older Kodi's (i7, 16GB, built in VGA card for video playback).
I couldn't find the problem (I don't think it happens with other players).
Maybe something with the latest version?
