The two vimeo ones in the first post of your thread appear and play fine for me, and that's even behind a rather finicky corporate firewall/proxy server.
I'd check at your end whether you've got a plug-in, security setting or something like that blocking them locally (or the server-side scripting etc which may be needed to view/access them).

I get same message on chrome, if you use http: not https: it works.
EDIT: you have to allow unauthorized script
