Can you link to specific examples?

This is of course presuming you're not referring to the multitude of links to such videos that we have to remove due to their content violating the forum rules (wiki).

In my thread...

...I think the browser says something about page trying to load scripts from not authorized sources...

The two vimeo ones in the first post of your thread appear and play fine for me, and that's even behind a rather finicky corporate firewall/proxy server.

I'd check at your end whether you've got a plug-in, security setting or something like that blocking them locally (or the server-side scripting etc which may be needed to view/access them).

Two vimeos in the first post??

I only see one with Adele.

Firefox - 1 video
MS Edge - 1 video
Internet Explorer 11 - 1 video, but after selecting Yes to allow All content, 3 videos display

I don't know what I have to check... Windows 7 fully updated, chrome and firefox updated and none of them shows any video, explorer displays a message asking about insecure content and after that the videos do appear. In my mobile phone, android with chrome they don't appear either Huh

---Edit---

I got the videos again changing
Code:
[video=vimeo]https://vimeo.com/217740790[/video] to [url]https://vimeo.com/217740790[/url]
